Wei Cao 曹巍

I'm a Ph.D. student at Computer Vision and Machine Learning Group at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, supervised by Prof. Yaoyao Liu.

I had the privilege of spending my high school years at High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University. My academic journey then took me to the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where I spent five and a half years immersed in an enriching environment, earning both my bachelor's and master's degrees. My master's thesis was mentored by Jiapeng Tang and supervised by Prof. Matthias Nießner in the Visual Computing & Artificial Intelligence Group.

I've spent great time at BCAI, Visual Computing Group, 2012 Lab, FBK, and BMW, working with exceptional researchers.
